Follistatin-344 is a synthetic analogue of naturally occurring Follistatin, designed to mimic its full-sized structure. It works by neutralizing the effects of myostatin, activin, and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). In animal studies, these actions have been shown to promote increased muscle mass through both hypertrophy (growth of muscle fibers) and hyperplasia (increase in the number of muscle fibers). Additionally, it has demonstrated the ability to reduce scar tissue formation and suppress certain inflammatory responses. Once administered, Follistatin-344 can be metabolized by the body to produce other functional variants of Follistatin.
