Description
Glutathione (GSH) is a naturally occurring tripeptide composed of three amino acids: glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. Found throughout the body, it is one of the most important intracellular antioxidants and plays a central role in maintaining cellular redox balance and protecting cells from oxidative stress.
Glutathione is involved in numerous biological processes and has demonstrated important roles in:
